Dean Grange is situated at Elton Corner, Gloucestershire. The home is registered to provide care for 5 adults with a Learning Disability. We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and have an overall rating of ‘Good’.

Our Facilities

The house is a former farm house and retains a lot of the original features that make it a unique home. All rooms are single occupancy and have access to a communal kitchen and lounge. The people who live there are involved in the decisions made about the décor of their rooms and the remaining communal areas which further promotes a homely environment.

There is a clear focus on maximising independence at Dean Grange. This is reflected by the minimal staffing presence and expectations placed on the people who live there to take part in daily house hold skills such as cleaning, meal planning, shopping and cooking. Each person who lives there also has an individualised timetable which they create with the staff to maximise their existing and potential skills. The timetable will involve a mixture of in house activities with our instructors, as well as community based activities such as college courses, voluntary jobs and gardening projects.
